Probably been asked before, but I'm gonna discuss it anyway; does anyone prefer the sounds of water bubbling or trickling in tanks at night as you're trying to sleep?

I have 2 tanks running in the bedroom. I sleep better with the trickling sounds their W/D filter make. It reminds me of sleeping on ships for 20 years while serving in the Navy.

I've only slept on ships while being lucky enough to join my parents on cruising holidays, my favourite thing was being rocked to sleep at night; I still miss that.

I was used to it from 1990-2005. But when the Wife moved in she made my remove the last tank in the bedroom. I actually had trouble sleeping for awhile(too quite).

I love the water trickling. ...
I hate any a low pitched hum....especially an air pump...

My tanks are silent by design....from the overflow to the return and all points in between....however,
during summer months I will raise my return eductors to break the water surface and I must admit, I like the trickle sound.
