water under tank.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Then if it's a long term worry vs short term (300 being set up) just leave it and get your damn 300 done:) NOw you have excellent constructive motivators!! ;)

And then when you take it down you may have to refinish part of that stand but hey if it's better to do that than risk your arow than thats what i'd do :)

This is true haha, It's almost ready.
Think I could just transfer the bioballs from my 265 into the 300's sump and be good to go?

If you were going to do that i would use my python to move the water from one to the other to less the risk even more of cycling :) But you already know that stuff :) Sorry bout your good luck in pushing your 300 switch closer :)

Thanks for the heads up, That's probably what I would do. Hopefully it doesnt come down to that.

just move the bioballs and water to the 300 gallon like already said and you should be good, are you going to keep the 265 up or is the 300 gallon an upgrade?

the 300 is just another tank. I'll keep the 265

I gues i am of the opinion of it its not a short time worry then get the 300 up and running asap. then you can take the 265 all the way down acess the damage do what you need to to correct any problems you have and get it up and running again. just my.02.

I'm leaning in that direction. I just hope I have the time to get the 300 going.

keep the advice coming everyone!

how bad is it bro
if i would have to quess its nothing that i would worry about
imo there is almost no way that the water soaked the wood all the way thru enough to worry about scraping out the stand
if the overflow was stopped up by your mag float then the water was overflowing the tank by the pump
that means that water was standing on your stand
that would then leak down to the underside of the top peice of plywood
just let it dry out
it would take alot to make that plywood rot enough to fall in

throw some fans on it and don't worry about it
