hey dorn,

add more bio media, feed less often, feed less when you feed

are there dead spots in the tank that collect poop? if so, adjust the flow in the tank

add filter socks or purigen to your sump

Im doing a 30% water change once a week and my water stays yellow...I have 7 bass in my 360 and I dont know what to do to clear up the water...I currently have a wet/dry system...65gallon sump, lifegaurd bioballs, high polished pads, cpr hangover overflow box, 2 mag 5 powerheads, ilwaki mx70 pump...Can anyone help me on what I can do??

Sound like you need to do a bigger water change, or do more of them. 30% a week does not seem enough for the bioload you have. What are your water parm? I wouldn't add purigen. That just putting a bandaid on the problem at hand. Its best to find out the source of the problem instead of tring to cover the issue. If you vacuum really good with every water change then your getting rid of organic matter which is the same thing that purigen claims to do.
