So does it work the same as the Python? Just screw the fauce pump on and turn the water on and itl drain the tank? Or is there some extra step involved?
The only thing that makes a Python drain the tank is the faucet pump, since it uses the Venturi concept. Everything else consists of simply garden hose attachments you can find anywhere.

So then its the exact same, just a dif name/dif price?

I would like to get involved ina few DIY projects, but i neither have the time nor money atm... freshman in college trying to save up for a truck and app. kinda drains my money lol..

No, they're completely different and do different things. One is for changing water, and the other can be used as an enema. Which you use for each purpose is up to you.

;)

They're identical.

Lol, was like 'damn, how many times did he hit enter..', but never mind, ok, guess ill just buy the one from petsmart and try it out, if it dont do a good job guess i'll get my money back and get an actuall python..

So would i just turn up the water pressure to make the suction of the vaccuum more forcefull, or does that not effect it? (My normal gravel vaccan barely pic stuff off the bottom..) (For some reason my bichirs crap weighs 30 lbs)

yeah for me i turn on both hot and cold for suction then only cold with barely the hot on so its just right when putting it back in. otherwise just not enough suction for me with only one nozzle on.

Yeah, if your sink has lower pressure, the suckage will suck lol. That's why I hook up to my outside garden hose instead of the sink. Lots of pressure there, enough to suck the paint off a Buick! When refilling, I hook it up to the sink so I can get warm water.

Ok, yea, my guard in on the sink in the basement doesnt screw off, so i'll have to see if petsmart or maybe home depot, etc as an adaptor that will slip over it, if not i'll have to use my shower, the pressure there is pretty nice.. I'll figure something out lol

the simplest thing I ever use to do water change is just the hose to take the water out!
