They're both female, going to be bringing a male in after these two settle down and start showing behavior I'm a little more comfortable with.

It applies to both sexes, the last thing you need from your females is them having a metabolic rate that has increased while at the same time reabsorbing ovum which could be catastrophic for the female ultimatley causing her death when they cant reabsorb anymore, its better to have them lay infertiles by a long shot.

Thanks for the advice, was not aware of the bacteria problems in waterfalls, so that was a large help.
