Free 55g, ~12 or 14 tanks of various sizes from 10g to 55g in various condition for $80, 44g Pentagon corner tank, stand, hood, HOB Penguin and some misc decorations for $125, bought a bunch of artificial plants from a pet store that closed their fish room for pennies on the dollar.

I picked up a 40 gallon tank from Craigslist last week. It came with two filters, glass top, strip light, and fish. A 14" Redtail Cat and a 12" Spotted Gar. All for free!

wow today i just picked up a 30 gallon tank with three red eared sliders(i know they deff need more room and im working on it)a heater,filter,floating island,pellets,frozen food,huge net,40 gallon tall tank,20 feeders,top fin 60 filter,an 8 box of bio bag filter cartridge and a bucket all for $50 off of craigslist.the tanks were nasty as hell.the filter on the top fin was completely clogged and that thing is like a half an inch in diameter.it took me 5 hours to clean and set up everything it was so nasty!but a hell of a deal
I got a 45 gallon long w/ stand, top, light fixture, heater, air pump, filter, air stones, fish food, aquaclear all for $15. Got it from craigslist from a woman who needed it out of her house asap.
