A great way to keep your oscar entertained is to breed your own feeders/livebearers, grow em out to 1", then drop them in different parts of the tank. Also, O's LOVE playing with/shredding apart crayfish.

I usually get mine all worked up by putting a big fake plant in his favorite spot and he'll sit there and beat the crap outta it until it uproots again, then i repeat the process the next day lol.

Can they eat adult, 6" crayfish? Or just smaller ones?

Ok well my oscar usally swims around alot plays with the jet of water and bubbles but is there any other ways of keeping them amused i know about the ping pong ball but is there anything else you can do????.

That was my oscar! Only doing anything if there was food involved.....then he decided to 'entertain' itself by jumping out of his tank.....

I got a couple bio balls in mine to play with. Its cheap(took from sump)
light and it submerged. I could torment them and have one bio ball but
I spoiled them, one bio ball for each O. I'd hate to see them fight

i almost got my oscar jumpin through a lil hoop for food! he'd jump near the hoop lol but never through!
