IN YOUR HEAD
i dap an adhisive tevlon sheet to all openings...i run a bead of the dap on the rim, then place the precut sheet in place... works if i get all the spots...missed one spot, lost a ropefish...on my other tank i have not lost anything...first pick is the tank that it escaped from in the corner...the others are of my other tank with no escapes... to clean i remove the plexi glass top...hole is the feeding hole and it is far enough away from the side they can't get out...post your ways so we get a collection of way to pick a good one for our future tanks

I have found in the past that using window screen repair kits and silicone to hold them in place works well. it doesn't restrict airflow into and out of the tank and its easy to cut to size

just duct tape it up

the air flow is not a problem with my tanks as the filters have holes in them...it could be problematic with canisters though...

On my bigger tank, I have a glass top. On the smaller one, I attached some polystyrene with adhesive.

I am using plastic knitting sheets (the ones with all the holes) on my tank with my Lap. On my other tank, I just block off gaps with random jars and bottles.

I've never had anything try escaping, let alone actually escape, so I guess it's good.
