ways to lower ph?

most have already been said, but rainwater, RO, peat, driftwood, ketapang (or other) leaves are the usual remedies. It's good you're not looking to use chemicals in order to accomplish this.

Ya i would never use chemicals, to expensive, and i don't think its good for the fish.

If you can't find it available online, you can always call 411, ask for your cities water department and ask them where to find it or to fax you a copy of it. It's a big report so they likely will show you where to find it vs faxing it. It's all public information so someone has it. ;)
