Moved an 8x3x3 540 gal with a pickup and two people. One of the most sketchy things I've done yet.

600 gallon with 8 guys moving it out a basement. Original owner had to pull a sliding door and a fixed side light just to get it out of the basement. Then had to hop down and get it off the back deck. Once in the air it it was up a huge steep hill onto the back of a double axle car trailer. Same process with the stand.
Once home Tom at Aquascape Chicago and myself got it off the trailer and onto dollies. Yup that's right two guys and an 8'x4'x30" tank.

three coworkers plus myself went to pick up my 300 from an LFS using Uhual cargo van. Worked out well, costed me the rental and a lunch.

Actually I think this thread applies only to large fish tanks, not SMALL BODIES OF WATER. That is a HUGE tank lol. And what a way to move it.
