I will be uploading photos of my new Amphilophus amarillos group in this thread. They currently range from 2 to 3.5", and I got these guys about a month ago from Jeff Rapps

nice

Didn't know he was offering these, though I regularly check there. I would be curious to see how they grow up, and how their colors show up as they mature.
Too bad you are in CA, I would have been interested in some "rejects" once you decided the ones you wanted to keep!

Thanks guys.

I am looking for a nice pair and maybe one good backup female out of this group. The rest will likely be offered up for sale. TheOscarGuy its too bad you're not local these guys are gonna turn out really nice.

I attempted the Amarillos and Chanchos a few years ago, when I got some from Mack Regan. I have always had bad luck with them, and I ended up with only females.

A male chanho or amarillo is a sight. The yellow in amarillo will only get better with age. I am going to have to be happy with the Xiloa male I have for now :-)

Any updates on these guys?
