WC Holy Grail blanco beani

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It's still too soon to really gauge there aggression in comparison.. but so far I'd say they're very much up there with the big guys. These guys are surprisingly very outgoing and will eat just about anything I throw in there. Awesome fish and I must have!!!

Beanis they are the meanest cichlids. Vicious is the word I use to describe a Beani. I wanna see a Beani and Grammode at same weight fight. Grammodes are pretty crazy lol

Not worth it. The beani is far too valuable..

I'd say grammodes though, look at how they're built.

Grammodes are tough suckers too, but my male was manhandled by a green Istlantum of the same age.

I think beaniis are as mean as any fish out there, thats for sure.

Regular strain or not they're aggressive. Grammodes IMO are built for war better than any other medium sized CA/SA cichlid. It all depends on personality too.. grammodes are mini dovii always remember that.

They can be... this is all subjective but I think beani are overrated in terms of aggression. They're definitely nasty.. but not like a dovii, grammodes, istlanum, and some african species.

I have seen enough vids and heard enough stories about Beaniis to know they are mean SOB's.

My grammodes have always been mean and I hated the way they would "hit and run" larger fish, tear them up with out letting them know what was coming. But I was blown away at my Istlantums jaw power and strength, He isn't the most outgoing fish I have ever had but he is probably the toughest lb for lb.
But its always up to the individual once you get similarly weaponized fish.

Agreed :) Nandopsis genus happen to be my favorite.

That is what I love about grammodes.. sure they're skittish, but man are they sneaky pesky devils.

I need to get some beani here again soon. Been waiting too long.
