I would but it messed up like 3 filters before also. Im like 90% sure thats what gave me some bad diatom issues the last time cause of it being silica sand. Maybe some light tile

LIke you said....switch up the base to some light tile.
Looks llike you need another kel or 2 to seperate tanks and get em eating what you want.
Kelberi are stubborn as well.

The kel eats really good though it only took me one day to get him to hammer the dead minnows so Im on the right track here I think. The orinos are pigs lol. I basically just dropped everything I had on the 180 and supplies last week so buying more fish sadly isnt an option lol. I would if I could trust that! What Im gonna do now though is freez all the roseys I have after they eat up some massivore and thaw them out to feed the guys. I have some frozen silversides on order so thats my next step. Then pellets if Im lucky

The orinos are close to 2 1/2 and the kel is around 3 1/2. The tank is 180g and the sump is around 100g.
