Hi, this is how "Volta" endli's patterns generally look, and when people get them it's not usually for the patterns and contrast. If you want a variant with consistently nice patterns and contrast I would suggest a "Tikinso Guinea".

The Volta variation combines the headshape of a PBB with the massive build of any Endli.
It is also known to be the biggest and BA out of all the other endli varients

I did not get it for the patterns & contrast more for the headshape and bulk like what Spirt said. I just think that Voltas have nicer looking heads but that is just my personal opinion.

I think you misunderstood me, he mentioned that the patterns look faded, which is how this variant generally looks and that if he were looking for a high contrast specimen a Tikinso Guinea variant would be the way to go.

Going to be one big endli, I like it!
These guys are so cool, almost look like to me, a missing link between bichir bichir and endli endli. I like this varient head shape, more BA looking, than the typical endli

I would disagree of looking like a pbb's head as it not even close. Especially when looking at top view. Not sure of you have a pbb but try to compare the two and you will see a big difference.
