WC Regiment for monster tanks

Hey guys....
Just wanna know what's the WC Regiment for guys who kept tanks that are 200 gallons or bigger???? I could imagine the water bills if I do the same 30% WC weekly that I do with my small tanks.....Question is how often and how much???...thanks...

also what is the method you use to do this becuase i will be geting a large tank/tub in my basment far away from my sinks and bath tubs.

how often and how much depends on how the tank is stocked and how low you want to keep your nitrate level. there is no definite answer, you just gotta test your water and do WC's when needed.

i just fill the plastic trashcans that hold 55 galllons with a hose and put in some old gravel; wait 3 days and then use it. easy as that

I still do 30% per week and I use a python. The water conditioner bill gets a little high.

I use auto drip. 96 gallons a day in my 579 gallon. 24 gallons a day in my 120XH.

thanks for the reply guys.....I will be moving soon into a house either this year or next, I had my eyes set on a 210 gallon and since I have a few tanks my parents are making me pay the water bills....lol...

Typically I do 30% a week to 10 days. I got a 55 gal barrell on rollies and use a little wonder pump to pull water/crap out of tank, wheel over to basement sink and pump out with pump. Then use refill side of a python to fill 55gal - and add prime. Then wheel back and use pump to refill.

Yeah, my waterbills KILL my fish budgets.

It will also depend on how yore tank is stocked and how often you feed.My 240g aro dat tank lots of filtration 30% every 5days.You could use a test kit to determine what works for you the more you put in yore tank (food&fish)the more you take out.
