we had a 30lb albino channel cat, we had him for 10years he died this year (unknown reasons) if i have any pictures ill post them. He was 30lbs when we re did the pond a few years ago, he weighed 35lbs when i pulled him out of my pond.

how long was that channel?

Channel cats are sensitive to lack of circulating water or oxygen. I've knew of a few people that lost them when the pump stopped or clogged. The koi in the pond survived but the channel cat died.
