Theres a few pet stores here that ive been to, and they always have a big tank and they both sell rays. but they dont list what kind of rays they are, i know they are fresh water but they are labeled "Freshwater Ray (No papers needed)" if bought from a store would t still be "illegal"?

do they have a more pointed front of the disk? im going to guess that they are an atlantic stingray

im not sure next time i go ill look, your aloud to keep atlantics?
no, they are a protected native fish species and you can only keep them with a permit. they are more BW than fresh.

yup yup just like those but a little smaller=P
It would be unlawful to keep them, he may have the permits to catch them, but I don't think he can sell them like that.

the actual store gets them sold basicly every couple days after the get them in
well, like I said, i'm not positive on it, but I do beleive that is unlawful. ask him about it.
