i have a 4 inch choc and i love it. it is with sajica/hrp/acara and other smaller fish and it never bothers anyone. its the gentle giant in the tank...eats like a pig too

I have a small 5" (male?) chocolate right now. I got him around 2" and he's an awesome fish. He did react with aggression when I added an 8" RTGG to the tank, so I separated the chocolate for a week then reintroduced him and he's a model citizen of the tank now. 
Mine. TBH the attaction is that they are not that common because they are not the best looking or the most(any)colourful.

Mine is in a tank with BP and sevs, but i would say you would be struggling to have the fish in your sig + a Choclate cichlid too.
