Congrats. Im surprised that they laid the eggs on the ground and not on a rock or the wood. I assume that you want to raise the fry, so you have to be ready if you want to be successful. The eggs, if fertilized, will hatch around 60 hours after being laid. I keep my water at around 82 degrees so if your water is cooler they may hatch a few hours later. Once the eggs hatch, the fry will feed off their yolk sac for 3-4 days at which point they will become free swimming. Once they become free swimming, you will need to feed them LIVE baby brine shrimp, and lots of them. I have had a few different species off bass spawn for me and I have tried every possible food out there and I have had zero luck with anything other than live baby brine shrimp. I didn't even have luck with frozen baby brine until they got alittle bit bigger. The good news is that once they are feeding on the live baby brine, they grow really really fast and can be switched over to easier foods.
Don't worry if you lose this batch of eggs, if you keep the water parameters good, you will have a new batch every 4 weeks. Once you start to see the female act like she is ready to spawn again, I would also feed her some fresh foods that were high in fat, such as salmon and would also give her some live night crawlers and a few live shiners. I noticed when I gave her these high quality foods the females would produce more eggs and the eggs would be stickier so they wouldn't scatter all over the tank as much.
Best of luck and let us know how you make out.
