if you let the convicts live together soon youll have more convicts than you know what to do with. theyre really awesome fish. but theyre prolific breeders and will only stop having babies when theyre not in pairs.
The Petco lady I spoke to today said she would take the fish when they get bigger. She said we have too many for our tank. We have 15-20. Some are tiny and may have been from this last hatch.

Convicts like oscars are cichlids, the convicts are OK in a 55 gal, oscars are not, it outgrow the 55, in a very short time.
