If he is 8" I wouldn't worry about him going without food for a week or more. They usually break after the first week.

Mined just quit eating pellets again. He's a little jerk. will eat enough pellets to live but doesn't have that fantastic growth unless its feeders or bloodworms.

An 8" jag on feeders would be pretty expensive.

good news.... he hate a small piece of market shrimp soaked in garlic guard!! so he broke!! and in only one day lol!

haha yea i agree.. this guy is a stunner though.... how old do you think he is at 8 inches?

2-3yrs if kept in an appropriate tank w/ good diet since young. If cramped with a poor diet all his life, he may be as old as 4-5yrs.
