Week 3.5 of EAT PELLETS OR DIE

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm a dat owner myself. Just want to hear some of the reasoning for going through this starving method. Why is it a big deal to get them on pellets? .

I agree... tigers are relatively slow growers.. compared to other fish... thers plenty of time to get on pellets. I ve owmed many tigers.. whichahve befun to eat pellets at so many different. Sizes.. 2-5 inch. 7 .. 8.. and even 12 inch ones.

Marinate...method
And
Stuffing pellets in frozen is always good method.. .
may take longer than eat or die... but not nearly as boring doing eat or die...

Again... plenty of time to convert if you keep them a long time few years at least. ...
Granted its usually a bit easier when they are smaller... less than 8 inch

Update:

Bad news first. Pellet or Die has ended at a little over 4 weeks. The winners are the skinny dats.

Good news.. Everyone eats market shrimp! :)

That's actually a huge step from live worms. So I would still consider this a win for me. I'll do "PELLET OR DIE" again in a month after I've fatten everyone up again.
