I would die to have a an antique tank in my collection... really. So don't trash it.
If not... give it to someone that would love to have one.

Just use plexi that is twice as thick as the current glass to prevent bowing/warping. Also remember that acrylic ("plexi") scratches far more easily than glass. A sand substrate would basically double the issue if you use a Mag-Float or something similar.Wolf3101;981060; said:You could always use plexi for the bottom and designate the missing piece as the back and do the same thing.
