My weeksii seems to LOVE getting stuck to the overflow box, it really bugs me but ever since she started doing that it seems like her slime coat is getting f'ed up. it almost looks like PH burn but no other fish seems to be having this problem, I noticed after i do a water change that it seems to go away a little bit but as soon as she sticks herself to the overflow box it comes back, anyone have any kinda gadgets or have made something to prevent anything getting stuck to your overflow box

Well i might not be much help since i dont have and overflow and dont know anything about em but can u put a mesh over the hole maybe.

i dont think its the holes causing this, its just the amount of flow going into my overflow box is really high, its a 180g 6x2x2 with a viaaqua 2200gph sub. pump, i need to build something around it so that theres no direct contact with the overflow box but at the same time not as much pull as there is at the slits themself

maybe you can try adding some floating fake plants so maybe your weeksii will hang out there instead rather than next to your overflow.

or turn down your pump. less flow, less current, less chance of being suction cupped to ur overflow box.
