where can i get a polypterus weeksii for a good price, and will it go in a new world chichlid tank? the tank is 125g and the chichlids are 1 convict(i will consider getting rid of this one), a blood parrot, and a random green colorred one.

a weeksii should be fine with those parrots.
but make sure theyre around the same size case weeksiis can eat big things.

You won't be disapointed with a weeksii once you get one. They are in my opinion one of the more active bichirs. I owned my first one 5 years ago and now I bought another. They swim around the majority of the time. My one now likes to swim along the top and glide through the current.
