try "TetraCichilid - Jumbo Carnivore sticks they love them and they sink. they are really messy tho good luck

my oscars were fed lots of them while i was away and it gave the water a red tinge to it

you might try worms. I used to feed mine night crawlers. They slurped them up like nothing. Every now and then the would start crawling out of their gills, though. Fun to watch
