Hahaha - don't we all!
I think we need to work on your goals first before we look at training methods. (I normally charge big $$$ for this, but fish lovers deserve better)
Before I start, I'd better add that terminology can differ widely between countries and even between institutions. Guys from different systems: please don't enter a debate about termonology with me! I know people use different terms!
Strength and power are similar concepts. They are about the maximum amount of weight you can move in a single effort. Power is fast (using momentum to help move the weight) and strength is slower and controlled. These are useful training goals if you need to apply a lot of force over a very short time. Is this what you want to develop?
"Toning" is a very general term, usually it means building a small to moderate amount of muscle bulk and then leaning up to get maximum definition of the muscle. Toning is often aimed at making people look sexually attactive. Is that what you mean by toning?
Muscular endurance is about your ability to apply a moderate force repeatedly. This is a very useful trait for people who fight. Is this what you want?
Bodybuilding is about building your muscles and sculpting your body to create a spectacular visual effect. Bodybuilding focuses on the look and not so much on actual physical performance (that is not to say that bodybuilders are not strong, but a power lifter will be much stronger that a bodybuilder). Body building methods are very specific and I am not the best person to tell you about them. Is this what you want?
There are many other forms of fitness as well, far too many for me to list here.
A general fitness program will give you a bit of everything but you will not become exceptional at anything. I beleive that clear goals are needed before you hook into the training, or you will just end up confused and unfocussed.
