Hello; The only way to know for sure is to have someone who knows about buildings and structure to have a look. I found notched floor joists in my current house that had to be repaired.
Thanks for the input so far guys. I'm not trying to set up anything big up there, I have my main tanks on my main floor and basement. But I'm trying to consolidate my small tanks into one room and I was thinking about doing that is a small office I have. 40 gallon, 46 gallon, couple 55's.

That could work. When I lived with my mother in law house I had a 55 40 breeder and a 29 .

I build house and I know all you have to do is brace whet you want to add a big tank by beefing up you floor joist and putting in jacks and it would support the weight
