Flip it over and get a pic, you can tell the difference between african and savana root by the knots on the wood, but so far my guess is savana root,.

can you get a pic of the smooth side?

Nice piece. Great for planting shallow rooted plants. Try some pennywort on it. Should take very well.

Joefish, I cant take any more pics, my cam got wet, hmmm... how did that happen? Well the back has little nipples all over it. ............................ I said nipples.
