weird freshwater stingray thing ???

i walked down to a fish store about a mile from my house and i saw alot of exotic fish and i bought 2 red belly paranahs and then stumbled across some about a half inch big stingray looking things the store had written ufo on the tank and were 10 dollers i was gonna purchase them but i was so lost on how to care for them i had to reggretably leave them they were sticking to the sides of the glass lie plecos anyone have any ideas on wat they were

Frshwater Flounder (Achirus lineatus). Actually I think they do better in brackish conditions...

probably butterfly loach a (Beaufortia kweichowensis). a flounder usually stays on the bottom

might be a borneo sucker...they lack tails right?

sounds like a hillstream loach, not a stingray

sounds liek a stingray pleco or whatever they are called im pretty sure ive heard them called ufo's before lol

i may be wrong but take the easy answer first...

he says they look like stingray's but stick like plecos...

Most likely a Hillstream Loach, I've been eyeing them at my LFS for awhile now. I hear they are sensitive though?

^not as much just like all plecs

hillstream loach, butterly loach/plec, borneo sucker, hong kong loach even ufos are all common names for (Beaufortia kweichowensis).
at my lfs i can get a few for 10 if it is in fact tha right fish
