weird question

so when i woke up this morning i saw that the last 1" to 1 1/2" of her tail(retic ray btw) looks almost like thread. It is very stringy and has separated at the end. It almost looks like that end of the tail is breaking off. What could this be/ what should i do.

Salt andturn the temp to 86F.

well it fell off, the more i look at it, it seems like it might have broke when she does her crazy up and down thing for food. Also, i raised the temp, and she seems to be doing fine.

tails are very fragile... keep the water clean youll be fine...
