just recommended adding aquarium salt, so try that for now. if you want to scrape them off, you can, but they do regenerate very quickly, even from pieces, so you do have to watch out for that. It may look like you got them all for a while, but then come back again.
As far as I know,they usually come about from over feeding or not removing uneaten food in the tank.They are nothing to worry over.As with planaria do water changes and less feeding.
You can scrub them, but that is a temporary solution. You can try Hypo-salinity treatment. Takes a long time and can be harmful to your fish if not done properly, but will kill everything unwanted.
Scrub the tank, then do a 100% water change. Keep the tank unstocked for two weeks just as you are doing for the ich. Add aquarium salt each time you do a water change and it will solve many problems before they happen. Salt is very inexpensive, especially when compared to treating after the fact (as with the ich).
in three days wen the ich treatments done ill scrub the hell out of the tank then empty down to the gravel is that alright?
