ey, by the way, i'm sure you know Newport Seafood and the pho place on the same corner lot. they are on Newport and bolsa(first street)

best pho and Vietnamese style lobster joints respectively. Newport seafood has the best salt and pepper squid too and the pho joint is so good they can afford to close at 5pm. lol, what restaurant closes at 5pm? seriously?

amiright? eh? eh? you gotta know that if you're in garden grove man

I'm going to have to say Dim Sum. Love it but the first few times I went some of the things coming around on the carts looked nasty. Now I'm tearing them up!!

I recently saw an episode of kitchen nightmare or whatever it's called where that famous british chef goes around helping struggling restaurants and he went to a soul food joint, that black lady that owned the place ran that place like a dictator and swore all the food and décor was perfect.

when the chef came and ordered some food, they microwaved the mac n cheese, lmao. well, they also served him some chitlins, and it looked like insides of something that used to be a living animal that was put in a blender.

I never seen chitlins or knew what it was but that was not a good first impression for me. it didn't look edible and looked like chum or pig slop
