LOL.....I would like to try some camel.Anthony Bourdain sampled some on his show...He was out in the desert in some Middle Eastern country and his hosts treated him to a Bedouin experience.That meat looked delicious.
I figured you'd made a mistake which was why I laughed and quoted it....Eddie I hope you get to catch that episode one day so you can see how good the camel looked.
I was in a country where camels are raised commercialy this spring but sadly never saw camel meat being offered. I did get to try sheep though.. Not lamb, big, male sheep, dont know the English name. Was great but the car ride afterwards was intense...
I ate it in Egypt when I stayed with the Bedouins. It was excellent (the trip, the camel was OK) but I think the fact I had just been riding the camels might have influenced this a little bit.
