is he still by himself ? maybe if you tried adding another fish it might help ? looks like we both got baby aimara at about the same time this past summer .
mine are about the same size too . i have one that doesn't seem to mind tank mates , and one that is a little more iffy on them . im pretty sure that one of them started eating meal worms after seeing a sunfish eat them . maybe worth a try adding another fish or two ?
