I wish to present our newest young apprentice, Hendre! He has been granted moderator permissions for the Ancient Fish and Planted Tanks subforums.
And I know, I know: there's probably going to be someone to pop up with "What about member X? They've been around a lot longer! They helped me once!"
I hear you. I know it's coming.
The reason Hendre was selected was simple. He's young, he's enthusiastic, he's respectful, he's knowledgeable beyond his years and, most importantly of all, he's new enough to not be subject to the factionalized political bickering on this website. He is a direct reflection of myself when I was raised up to the staff: member for only about 3 years, lots of posts, fairly young, hasn't had a chance to make lots of enemies yet. We think Hendre has the potential to grow into an experienced and incredibly valuable member of this community. I will be serving as his mentor as he learns the ropes of moderating the forum.
There will likely be further announcements of this nature over the next few weeks. Hendre is NOT the last person we have our eyes on.
Please join me in congratulating our newest staff member!

Hendre
you're not going to be forever waiting for that cool title anymore.
