Keep an eye out for conspific aggression. With 15 it should be spread out pretty well, but these guys can get nasty with each other.

When I try these guys again I'm definitely going to keep them with less aggressive SA's, I had issues with them injuring their delicate mouths with rowdier cichlids and freaking out into the glass.

Just wait till they go blue and gold.

yeah bro I can not wait! I am keeping them with Uaru's right now and plan to add some Geo's too but that will be it. There are a couple 1.5'' Salvini in there now but that is just for a short time. I already thought about the mouth injury thing I could see them just getting thrashed fighting with any larger aggressive cichlid. No way not these guys;):D They have stepped their aggression towards each other up a bit I noticed. Nothing bad yet but they do chase around quite a bit.
 
these viscous little bastard's killed x2 of my little red strain Salvini this week and x3 of their own kind! They are just booming in growth. I have plans to cut the group in half this weekend. Letting a partner of mine take on half the hive and keeping half. The goal is to breed them between the two of us this year:D:naughty:
