Wednesday will tell you the same things. So far weld on 40 alone seems to be just fine unless you need to fill a large gap or something. You are going to be making literally a small triangular strip out of weld on 40 and placing it on the seam spanning the two pieces of acrylic. Gravity will make the perfect bead.

Weld on 40 is the bulk buy stuff. 42 is usually just sold is small shots
