This was at a LFS i went to. I debated picking it up but really didn't have the space for a JD. I assumed he was born like that but i guess another fish could've ripped it off

maybe yours was bitten off young and never grew back, he just sits on the bottom so often we will see.

That happened to a convict baby i bred a while back. He was shaped almost like a heart and lived for almost a year before i gave him to my cousin and idk what his condition is now.
