I have my doubts as well, but chose to encourage this anyway. At the worst, he'll gain experience rearing fry.

That and the fact that your "mom and dad" didn't let you take a picture leads me to believe you don't know for sure what fish you have in that tank.

um i sure as he** no what kind of fish i ve got in my tanks. i am not new int the hobbey thank you vary much and i no what they are and no i dont have a camra and my water qualty is fine they just died i was bumed but if your gonna rip on me for saying that they didnt spawn so be it cacichlids so be it but i spawn fish and can tell the difrence between an oscar and a gold fish and a pret acar from a clown loach.Good day to you to

I have no reason to doubt this story yet. Weirder crosses have occurred. Do you have any pictures of either of your fish?

They are related somehow.

If you wanna believe a 12 year old bred a stingray to a pleco and can't post pictures cuz momma said so, then do it. If Oscars could be bred to anything else it would have been done long ago, by the people that have been breeding em for 30 years, not by a random kid that can't even write properly.
