Well....this sucks!

Thx everyone! I fed some Whole Foods brand market prawns the night before. This is my routine, as I remove my driftwood arrangement during a water change to check for leftover shrimp uneaten. Instead I find my largest clown loach dead. So I can't blame the water company as this happened before my water change. The rest of the inhabitants are doing just fine.

Damn that's so random too... Any others show any sign of stress?

All is well with loaches, plecos, morays, etc. It sucks cuz we all wish to have these 10"-15" clown loaches that are round, not these WC skinny ones with the long snouts. Was willing to wait for it to grow slowly, age fine like wine. Now I gotta start a few steps backwards with the 5" ones of have.

I know how you feel, happened to me 3 weeks ago. Came home to my largest loach dead which was just about the same size as yours. Lost a Pimelodus blochii that was about the same size later on that evening.
