Well three died since Last Friday!

Well I got 5 Red Head tapajos last friday and Im down to two..... thier just dying... I haven't had a fish die in my tank in ages??? small or large.. my water parameters are excellent...:confused: .. one died the next day of recieving them, then one on sunday then I tried to save another one yesterday and it died when I came home from work today!!! I think im not gonna order fish online for a while.. kinda irked out spending a alot of money for fish to die.. now I have two and hoping that they live... well thats my rant.. I wonder if any of you have had this issue before??

(It wasn't the sellers fault! that wouldn't be right to blame the seller.. I recieved them alive!!)
 
Could be that they were stressed so much during their trip they never recovered. Or they could just be weak/defective. Who knows.

But yeah I'd be pissed too. I lost 1 fish from an online purchase and was pretty pissed. It was the USPS' fault though.
 
yea.. I dont know.... I know some one... that spent a fortune on panda urau's and all of them died after 2 weeks... so im always a bit cautious of buying fish online..
 
Its hard cause buying online allows you to get ahold of more uncommon species. Thats what I like about it. But its risky and also a hassle when something goes wrong. About that time the fish died on me, the guy offered a replacement FREE. But I told him it was ok. I was really pissed off at USPS though.
 
Damn Louie that sucks! I lose 1 of my 4 juvie tapajos this last week too. No reason at all and the rest are doing fine. It sucked too because that one was my fav so far. I got mine locally though.

Sorry man, I feel bad for ya. Hopefully the other two pull through...

I only just had my first online purchase arrive yesterday i was after a male gold saum and the guy from the shop said he definitely had one so i brought it.. It arrived and I had a white saum and there is no way to tell if its a male so i am now very sus on the online purchasing..

i know the feeling. i lost 4 gymno to unknown causes. i've never lost fish like that, even my psittacus were ok and they were a lot smaller when i got them
