Well three died since Last Friday!

I do not like to hear about horror stories while I await the arrival of my 4 Jardini today. The only way for me to get them was online. I have been searching for months and my pet store owner friend told my to go online. He is not a fan of internet, especially since he retails, but had no choice as arowana's are becoming increasingly harder to find.

ya that sucks. i have also few online fish. They came from jeff, nothing he did but ups beat the snot out of one box, it had cuts and puncture wounds in the side. THere were two dead fish and nearly lost another because the was almost flat because of how hard they have been toused around. I have also lost other fish by one fish coming overly aggressive when they are suppose to be somewhat peaceful. I feel bad because he has amazing fish and they cost a good amout to ship. But now everyone is doing well.
But now i am waiting for fedex to bring me a 3 WC geophagus red head tapajos, hopefully everything goes well cause i paid a good amount for them.

Pete... I'm gonna try again later on but Im gonna go in with some one else to ease the pain of shipping cost.. I kinda absorbed the cost myself because I really had the money at the moment and was amped to get them..
Well the Two today are doing good.. just HATE to see just two of them... but Im gonna wait to get more...

They can be pretty delicate when that small. Plus those little guys need to eat pretty often. The stress of shipping plus the lack of food can kill the really quick. I always try to feed any geo's that I have that are under 2" 3-5 times a day. Unfortunately with small fish you are often going to loose one or 2 from shipping and during the recovery time. I always try to order at least 6-8 of anything 1" just to be safe.
Sorry you lost some of them. Hope the last 2 do well.
Probably could have been an internal illness that didn't show itself until being aggravated by the stress of transport.
