It has been a rough 2 months since I last posted any pictures. Thankfully my girl has finally came around and is back to her usual self although there are still a few light spots that are healing from whatever nastyness was in the tank.

I have nobody but myself to blame but I am very thankful for what I still have and I think I learned my lesson.

She will still probably regain some color over the next week or two but all other symptoms seem to be gone

She never really stopped eating so she didn't really drop any weight which is a good thing

Maybe I missed it John but what was going on? I knew you picked up a new ray. Did a parasite get introduced? She still looks good.

lol thanks guys, I picked up a few new rays that I did not properly qt. I really have no idea what it was in the end I ended up just mass medicating for everything fearing I would lose her as well. Whatever it was either pimafix, prazipro, or salt killed it. I suspect it was a parasite with a secondary bacterial or fungal infection because she had some funky patchs on her disk for sure and I noticed that only half her spiracles where going at one point (that is when I dumped in the prazi).

Live and learn I guess the only small comfort I have is that I doubt the rays I got ever had a chance and I managed to nurse her back to health. I would rather not go into the details of the other rays it is in the past and I would prefer to leave it there .

That right there is why I think it's comical that people expect CB pups to be sold at WC prices.

Not sure I remeber the last time I had a good dance with a WC Marble.

I am done with wc rays for sure. I am going to patiently wait for a hobbyist I trust to have some rays available. I got real lucky with her she was wc and never gave me any trouble.

CB is the way to go for sure. All mine are either CB or long time captives. Never had to QT (but I also knew the owners took excellent care of em). Glad she made it.
