can you get them in the USA? If so where? I would love to have a couple to grow out. Before everyone starts I know they get huge.

yes, and unfortunatly they had some sort of disease.... im still at loss because of it.

if its any consolation -- they live wild here in the UK in most of the souths rivers and more than 200 ponds !! and you still can't buy or keep them at home without a licence (which the fishery department refuses to issue) ....
