I don't think so...
Most people, beside the max size don't even know the deference.
Anyway mine is 1 meter long so is wels for sure as Aristoteles reaches 50cm max size.

My wels is doing fine, he is almost 1 meter (100cm) in length today.
I'll try to post some pics soon.
