did i read that right 30 miles i hope you didnt have to carry the wood that far .
like i said before i'm inspired i'm going with that look in one of my tanks i like the look very amazon
LOL...I am very picky...takes me a long time to find exactly what I'm looking for,but usually I will set it aside and mark it then pick it up on the way back out so I dont torture myself too much :grinyes: I wanted to do this tank like a root infested river bank yet leave alot of swimming area...I have alot of tanks that are bare and simplistic so something like this is always a nice contrast.

Your tanks have the perfect amazon look!

man i LOVE that pieces of wood with the java fern and moss on it.. How did you get it to look so good. Mine doesn't look nearly that good... GHETTO

I envy you guys who can still find clean, beautiful stream/river systems like that. I would love to find something like that here in our country but sad to say the only ones left are the ones that no person can reach deep in the jungle. The ones that we can get too are all fishless and are dirty/polluted due to carelessness and wanton destruction. :(

nice place!! and great tank!!
Do your wood leave ink in the water!! Here we have to boil our wood, and even so the water get darker for some time!!
