unless u see dead bass washed up on the shore line they will be fine

and im not talking about one or two fish cuz some fish just dont make it through the winter

get urself a thermometer to test the water and it will help u on wat type of lure and presentation to use on ur fishing outings

This is the only fish that would let me get close enough to take a picture.

Also, consider taking the time to read post #1. It explains why I didn't take many fish pictures.

Yea, I figured they just had it rough from the winter. When the water warms up their metabolism will increase so they'll become more active.

I plan on getting a second fish finder for the boat so I'll make sure it has temperature capabilities.

its hard to tell cuz its early season but just keep a eye on the lake and if it doesn't show signs of the water condition getting better report it to somebody

This is a DNR lake that is closely monitored and stocked. They'll probably catch it before I do, but I'll be sure to speak up if I think it's abnormal.

Thanks for the help man.

This thread makes me want to go fishing now that it's getting cooler. downsides of not having a car and a father who is at a mine for 2/3 of a month.
