today i got 5 chain pike 5" and kept one 3"er, 4 (i think) mud skippers, 1 (i think) trout, 2 fresh water clams, and some cray fish and a bunch of guppys.

this is the stock list of my new native/cold water tank.
will post some pics tomorrow.

mud skippers in new jersey? i thought they were found in warmer regions?

to be honest, i have no clue what they are, i just thought they looked like them.

o and i let the larger 5" pike go in the river to be free and produce more little pike!

as in you let the pike that you caught go free... or you took one from your tank and let him go into the wild...

Those "mudskippers" are probably a species of freshwater goby. If you could get your hands on a field guide they can probably be easily identified.
