well,looks like someone didnt like the big gar after the lights went out

im thinking the aro cus one pacu is scratched up also

guess i didnt feed him enough before the move
or
the gar wasnt big enough yet

ive seen people keep gars with aros tho
who knows

i catch gar like that all the time at a river by my house, but there all over a foot long. If i could get a small one... do you use a cast net?

i do but i caught all these with my shrimp net

Those are nice . I was standing on a dock the other day on the St. Johns river and saw a few gar messing around under the dock about 5" - maybe 9" . They kept thrashing the water chasing little minnows .

two tilapia (one with babies),a flowerhorn,a jaguar cichlid,some sort of catfish and some baby tilapia and mosquito fish.
didnt bring my camera.
